If you read ther alliance page at the bottom it says "Join us now so that we may rule the Universe together"

What do you mean "want to" ? It's pretty much already done. There is no significant opposition sadly. It would be nice to have SOMEONE within attack range. Even BaSa seem to be taking great care to stay below our top members' attack range. I am actually praying for my fleets on expedition to meet a black hole so I can go and play with someone.
