Suggestion: Buildings, Researches & Ships

I have some suggestions which everyone might like. Please read even if you don't like it.
Here's what:

==Buildings==
Foundation (Space Station)
Restriction: Only 1 foundation can be built for each planet.

Requirement: Hyperspace Technology level 10
Hyperspace Engine level 8
Laser Technology level 12
Plasma Technology level 10
Nanite Factory level 2
5 Orbital Scaffold
Military Engineering level 5
Energy Technology level 12
Space Station Technology level 10
Shield Technology level 10

Base Building Time: 24 hours

Bonus: +10 slots for current planet (Equal to 10 levels of computer technology.)

Energy Upkeep: 10k

Statistics: Structure Points 1 million
Attack Points 20k
Base Speed 5k
Shield Strength 50k

Cost: 1 million metal, 500k crystal, 250k deuterium

Descriptions:
Foundation is similar to a traditional Space Station in one sense. But after hundreds of years of researches and technological development and improvements, the space foundation is born. A space foundation acts as a space academy for training. A place for students to study on. In time of battle, the foundation are used as a battle station. Foundation can be used to defend against destroyers and offers a bit more firepower and defense against the mighty death stars before going down. Armed with improved plasma turrets, heavy laser cannons, gauss cannons and small sized graviton cannons designed to take down cruisers, a foundation is not something to be mess with even with a large fleet. Foundations are not considered ships, but as a mobile building that can be used as an "attacking building" as well as for defense.

Base Building Time: 5 hours

Statistics: Structure Points 20k
Attack Points 500 (Five Hundreds, not thousand. I didn't mistype.)
Shield Strength 5k
Base Speed 10k

Cost: 100k metal, 50k crystal, 25k deuterium

Space Station
Restrictions: Only 10 space stations can be build for each planet.

Energy Upkeep: 1k

Requirement: 1 Orbital Scaffold
Laser Technology level 5
Shield Technology level 4
Military Engineering level 5
Space Station Technology level 5

Base Building Time: 12 hours, time can NOT be decrease.

Statistics: Structure Points 50k
Shield Strength 10k
Base Speed 1k
Attack Points 1.5k

Cost: 250k metal, 150k crystal, 150 deuterium

Descriptions:
The base of the foundation. The space stations are used as a small battle station against heavy fighters, cruisers. The space station can also take on 2 battle ships at once. The only weakness is against destroyers. Against destroyers it can only play the defensive roles until reinforcement arrive. If there are no fleets on a planet, the battle station can only stand still to get destroyed by incoming destroyers. It can be used to support foundation during battle, freeing the foundation to deal with larger ships.

Photon Cannon
Requirements: Photon Technology level 3

Cost: 25k metal, 25k crystal, 10k deuterium

Time: 2 hours

Statistics: Structure Points 25k
Shield Strength 250
Attack Points 2.7k

==Researches==
Military Engineering

Cost: 300k metal, 250k crystal, 100k deuterium with additional 2 X of metal each level.
(Increase in metal only.)

Time: 30 minutes with X 2 additional time for each level.
(Research lab upgrades does not decrease the time, only IRN does.)

Space Station Technology

Cost: 500k metal, 350k crystal, 250k deuterium with no additional cost.
(Cost became 2 million metal, 1 million crystal and 300k deuterium after level 8)
(Cost increases by X 2 starting at level 10)
Required at least 1 orbital scaffold.

Decreases the time to build space stations and foundations by 20% at level 10. Any increase of level after that only decrease the energy upkeep requirements by 100.

Plasma Missiles Technology

Requirements: Plasma Technology level 8

Cost: 50k metal, 50k crystal, 250 deuterium with additional X 2 per level

Time: 5 minutes with additional X 4 per level.

At level 5, this technology improves the attack points of Hyperspace Fighter by 1k.
Any increase of levels after level 5 does not add any more attack points.
(Which means waste of research after level 5)

Photon Technology

Requirements: Laser Technology level 12
Ion Technology level 12

Cost: 250k deuterium with additional X 2 per level.

Hyperspace Fighter
Requirement: Hyperspace Engine level 5
Hyperspace Technology level 6
Laser Technology level 9
Weapons Technology level 6
Plasma Missiles Technology level 2
Armor Technology level 9
Shield Technology level 6
Photon Technology level 2

Cost: 100k metal, 50k crystal, 50k deuterium & 1 elite pilot

Statistics: Structure Points 6.25k (Half of heavy fighters)
Shield Strength 400
Attack points 10k
Base Speed 15k

Time: 2 hour per fighter (Can NOT be decrease by upgrades or nanite factory and robot factory)

Descriptions:
This is the most powerful fighter ever created. It's high speed, plasma missiles and photon cannon proved to be the most fearsome weapons among any fighters. It can even out run battle ships in a ratio of 1 fighter against 3 battle ships. The only thing expensive here is the pilot. Only the best of the best pilot can handle this machine. Hyperspace fighters do have some weaknesses. It's weak against destroyers, space stations and foundations. Other than that, it all depends on the pilot.

Elite Pilots
Requirement: 1 foundation on the current planet
All requirements of the Hyperspace fighter.

Cost: 1 million metal, 500k crystal, 500k deuterium. (For each division)
(Creates 25k metal debris and 10k crystal debris at end of training.)

Time: 18 hours (per division)
1 division = 10 pilots

The availability of pilots are all counted in same pool for an empire, regardless of which foundation trained them.

Planetary Ship
Restrictions: Only 5 planetary ships are allowed each planet.
Requirement: Hyperspace Engine level 6
Hyperspace Technology level 6
Space Station Technology level 5
Military Engineering level 2
3 orbital scaffold
Laser Technology level 12
Weapons Technology level 10
Photon Technology level 2

Statistics: Structure Points 700k
Shield Strength 35k
Attack Points 10k
Speed 12k

Cost: 700k metal, 500k crystal, 400k deuterium

Time: 18 hours

Descriptions:
Planetary Ships are used as a carrier for fighters when traveling to a place with no life support.
(Example: A planet with no foundation or space station, and outer space.)
The idea came the navy carrier from Earth around the 21st century. It can accommodate 300 light fighters, or 150 hyperspace fighters. The farming system and ecosystem on board are the features of the planetary ships. They are like foundation in a way, but move much faster and are packed with heavy punch. During battle, each of these ships act as a command center with each commanding their own dispatched fighters. It's very expensive to build.
(Note: If a planetary ship are destroyed, all the fighters dispatching from that ship will be lost.)

these are good idea's but i think the time for all of them should be able to decrease
i don't like the pilot idea however because then we would have to pay for the ships & the pilots wich would be stupid

i really like those idea, actually i love them and they well make this game more interresting.

Well, it's not really stupid. If this pilot idea isn't there, then everyone could create God-like fleet with only Hyperspace fighters and destroyers in a short time.

The better the unit is, the more price to pay for it. It would increase time needed as well, because you can only build the pilot first before fighters. This would create a fair system.

yes but you could balance it by making it take more resources to build
but it takes 12 hours to build an orbital scaffold
it takes me 4 hours to build a death star how is it fair that something that doesnt use half the resources takes 8 hours longer

More resources are easy for rich empire. No way, the rich one could easily outrun everyone.
It's hard to build, so the time is 2 hours a fighters.

A pilot needs time to train, it's a human.

orbital scaffold only take 5 hours by the way. The time can be decrease by research or upgrades unless when specified.

Are you referring to a foundation? By logical sense, death star is a ship armed with weapons.
Foundation is both weapons and agricultural and also training facilities that are hard to implement.
Not to mention the shield system are hard to integrate. So if we view it like real, it does make sense.

I don't know, but I'll see. Maybe you do make sense :)

A pilot needs time to train, it's a human
how do you know it's a human it could be a robot or just a normal ship

Robot and human, which is smarter? Hyperspace fighters in my idea, are designed for elite pilots whose skills surpassed a robot / computer, and can make a much more smarter decision.
If a decision is needed and a robot is in a completely new situation where it's not programmed for, then it's bye bye. A human however is smarter, and these pilots are trained for quick responds.

This is my idea, so I'm making it a human pilot. I know it's a human cause I created this idea. Sounds to me like you want to make God-like fleet at faster time. For rich empire, this is a piece of cake.
How are we gonna play this game if a rich empire can build at extremely fast speed?
They could be God of War in no time...

no what i want is ships to cost resources without having to pay extra
and haven't you ever seen the terminators
