Just wondering is it possible to be attacked/probed without notification,as I had a debri field
but no message.

I think not.

the df that you have should be the origin of many spy probes, which are destroyed after many they accumulate debris.

Totos is correct. If you have been probed you will get an espionage report rather than a combat report. Also, all reports are deleted after a time, so if you go a couple of days without logging on that could explain the lack of a report.
