Okay I dont know why this didnt dawn on me sooner but, you know when we abandon a planet and in the galaxy we just see the words Abandoned Planet, well I got to thinking about that and as I was telling someone about the game we started talking about the debris fields and HELLO, a HUGE light bulb turned on.
Why when anyone abandons a planet is there not any debris field? We put an effort into building it up? I can see where this might help a new player recoup a bit of the investment for the time they took to get started and learn the game a bit. I am not asking for a 100% DF but maybe a 30% DF would be nice.
I know the larger players have hundreds of recyclers but even as a new player, if they knew the percent, they could always pre send the recyclers to the empty DF and time their ships to collect the 30% within minutes of abandoning.
I know this would really help a new player, dont you think so?
