Ideas to promote the game ?

i think maybe more people than that, can you guarantee theyll spend, i mean its only 5 people, maybe you get one ruby if they purchase something

How about players race avatars and perhaps even basic descriptions?

It would add to the roll play element if we were able to show perhaps a picture of what our people look like. Something small that we can upload. Perhaps your people are lizards, or humanoid. Perhaps they are a race of blue aquatic creatures?

I think it would be something to enhance the game with out effecting game play other then roll play.

Standard rules would apply. No Pornography.

I agree that maybe something on Facebook and other sites like that would be good. I also recommended starting up some type of chat channel on IRC to get people more involved and perhaps recruit new people. There are several thousand people on Undernet IRC, dont see why that wouldnt draw some people. They have a few text based games on IRC anyway, if people will play those they would certainly play BFS.

Put a link on some of the MMO free browser game sites. have our players write some reviews on the site. I always look at such sites to find new games to play.

A speed server can promote a game in better way. I know one game which started a speed server (10x speed server). And they offered gold which are like rubies in this game. That server lasted for 14 days. Target was to capture a city and hold it till the end. The one guy who holds it when the server closes was the winner. It was crazy. Fights were huge and even the participation was huge.

But, it was not a sucess as they made it a payble one. And they had to close it. Now the good thing was that this brought in numerous players.

One more thing is that the payment option is one Pay Pal. But that game has numerous options. More than 50 options to go for. This is the one thing that this game lacks.

Speed server is good and is going to attract more people. And more options would provide flexibility to players.
