Any Gun Nuts here?

Post by Crutch »

I love my fire arms. I have been collecting for about 15 years now.

My first rifle was a cheap Chinese sks, given to me at 16. I still have it to this day.

Good night, that is one heck of an awesome collection.

So what is your favorite personal defense weapon?

Have no need of personal defence weapons in Aus....these are what I use for hunting and club use. My mauser is my favorite for serious hunting ..it will drop a roo at 900meters..(have a 4x12 varible scope for snipering). It was still packed in grease paper when i got it and since had it re-bedded etc. bore is imaculate. The black powder rifles are for target (turkey shoot)and light game..the 58 cal ...I can put anything down the mussle..various shot to ball and minie. Pistols for club only.

Mosin-Nagant M44 Carbine :P Stamped 1944, Tula Arsenal. Missing it's folding bayonet at the moment. Got three tins of ammo for it and so far have in fact used it on people. Two robbers, shot 'em in the night. Both through their torsos at fairly random spots. (Darkness after all, aim for rough center of mass.)

I love a mossy. One of THE most reliable and well made rifles. Cheap, Accurate, powerful, old.

7.62x 54 I think. The same round as the Dragonov auto snipe.

wolfprophet, I have a friend who collects them. He has about 6 so far.

In my opinion, every mans first rifle should be a Nagant bolt action.

I have always been a fan of AK variants. Even the ones that use .223 or 5.56.

This year I plan on buying a few more.
