What's your favourite book?

Post by wolfprophet »

Book book I lost my book....and it is gone like petals in autumn...of all the things I've lost, I miss my mind the most.
Now then, the purpose of this thread is to post your favourite book(s) or book series. The reason for making this thread though is because I've just finished reading every book I own and I'm bored now. Mind you, I'm going to re-read four of them till I know all lessons these books have to offer by heart. But in addition to that, I'd like to read more. ^_^

And to start off, my favourite books at the moment are :
Panzer Commander: The Memoirs of Colonel Hans Von Luck by (You guessed it) Hans Von Luck.
Speak by Laurie Halse Anderson
Fallen Angels by Walter Dean Myers.

One thing I've noticed with Speak though was after reading a copy of it from 1999 and another copy of it from 2007, the author edited it a little, 'updating' it so to speak. A slight mention of discussing the Iraq war in the girl's Social Studies class among other post-2000 events.

That actually sounds like a pretty useful one for me.

Book of Five Rings, Art of War, and Awaken the Giant Within. Any fantasy, sci fi or horror fiction. Necroscope and Wamphyrii series by Brian Lumley are strong contenders.
O hai! Ur planets? I eated dem.

It is. 2nd on the list is Programming the World Wide Web
3rd is CISCO Routing Protocols and Concepts.

Good books. Buy them and read them. lol

Random thought though. You may want to start with some beginner ones before those though.
